Erected in 1971, the Witherspoon Mansion in Regency remains to this day one of Omaha's finest residences. The French style estate, built of rare white marble from the mines of Georgia, sits on a 4.7 acre site and features 8 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a cherry wood library, a bowling alley, and much, much more. After the devastating fire in January 2009, the mansion sat dormant for nearly a year. Eventually deemed a total loss, A&R Salvage & Recycling was contracted to salvage the mansion before its demolition.
